Building Domestic Capacity in Pandemic Planning
We rely too much on foreign supply chains that might not be available to us in a crisis. And i think we're going to do more to provide for the domestic capacity. This isn't going to, like, tip the balance of trade around in the world. We need to start finding places where we need to operate for some level of resiliency. The government could come in and subsidize that. They could pay you money on an annual basis to maintain some reserve capacity operate your facilities. So it's base of preparedness. It's ont like you're building things in moth buoyn ecause that doesn't work. I don't think so.
