The Importance of State Police Training

The primary responsibility of maintaining law and order in any area is that of the state police. The CRP or anyone else comes into a state, they come under the provisions of Section 12930 of the CRPC - to aid and assist the civil authorities in the state. So the command and control continues to be that of thestate police and the central forces are meant to carry out orders that are given by the statePolice. But we have seen increasingly that when the political parties at the center and at the state level are different, this has become a reason for a lot of friction and bad blood.
