The Importance of Being Weird
This is a little bit of like modern horror homage. Like it's a, you know, like modern horror grows out of Lovecraft and now we're like bringing something back because I don't think you'd see something a moment quite like this in a Lovecraft story itself. What you are getting from this is the essence of as the alien creature makes the world into its into its likeness. Individuals become weird and zone out at various points and you know don't notice that they're causing harm to themselves or others like that. They just straight up eaten by a monster. There's not a lot of like a small digit manipulation or anything. So they go to hospital and the kids are left in charge
