The Importance of Discovery in Product Development

When I started product and like a notion which I like heard a lot was like, hey, you have to get comfortable with the way you deliver products for delivery before you gradually expand your horizon. And this is something I also believed in a lot. So when I hired new product managers, I always was like, you know what, just focus on delivery, making sure like all those scrum wheels are turning. Then we can broadly expand your skill set responsibilities to discovery. Now that I think about it, and like, if I'm honest with myself and saying like, look, I believe that like Discovery honestly has a has an equal importance at least to delivery because ultimately it doesn't matter
