The Shadow Side of Belief

Carl Jung popularized the idea of a shadow self, meaning that we all have like a dark or emotional side of our personality. Some may say it's even like inferior or the immoral part of us. We try to hide or deny this shadow, most especially from ourselves. The more we are attached to any persona, bad or good, any chosen and preferred self image, the more shadow self we will have.
