Is There Magic in the Real World?

i find the idea of a thing that could never be comprehended, i want to say, simultaneously implausible and kind of annoying. So i wonder if you could talk more about what magic should be,. Not in a sort of prescriptive way, but, like, what is it like that your imagining as being magic, as opposed to technology and science? That would make them always distinguishable from one another.
