Christian Ethics - Is the Bible a Jesus Shaped Lens?

Baptist's faith and message once said all scripture must be read according to or through the criteria of jesus christ. That got taken out when baptist faith was revised under fundamentalist leadership in two thousand. A more thoughtful reading of the bible can permit honesty in engagement with all kinds of texts.
