Venture capitalist says U.S. needs 11 trillion dollars of investment between now and 2050 to reach lower levels of carbon emissions. "We're in the midst of a pretty big transition, a very significant transition in mobilization of private capital that as a venture capitalist makes me pretty excited," he says. Climate technologies will probably be about 40% of our investments; we are trying to look for some of the more software computational services around that.
