How to Design More Viable Futures in the Present

One of the strategic dilemmas for the work is how do organizations keep the lights on and at the very same time design more viable futures in the present. How do we get people to shift a core assumption that we think that the future is out there and then we're in fact, the future never arrives because we're always in the present? You know, even small actions today, cumulatively change our trajectory towards whichever futures they are.
