There is a lot of public support for this cap am ined by partisan sense, forty three of 50 g o p senators voted to block it. It's 85 % of voters across the board who support it, an 86 % of republicans. This is something that people absolutely believe in. A stock byback is when a public company uses cash to buy shares of its own stock on the open market. Public companies use 54% of their earnings, for a total of two point four trillion dollars, to buy back their own stock. And so people might want to say, like, what?
