How to Convince People That This Is Okay
We are very close to a serious overshoot situation where there has been so much carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases dumped into the global carbon sink. There's only about enough space, according to this scientific panel, for about 500 gigatons of carbon dioxide and equivalent gases to be further dumped into this shared planetary carbon sink. So in this context, we've been seeing kind of a new craze of businesses of all sorts pledging to contribute to the solution by reducing their carbon footprints.
