Happy hour is a marketing term that refers to a time of day when a restaurant or bar offers reduced prices alcoholic beverages. Happy hours have been illegal in the republic of ireland since two thousand and three under the intoxicating liquor act. The laws were created to help stop overserving and drunk driving. In illinois, you cannot offer a two for one drink special. You cannot give away drinks as a prize for a trivia night. And bars cannot host drinking games.
