The Yellow Wallpaper: A Novel
Mrs. March is an extremely judgmental character and begins to assume that everybody around her is just as judgmental of her as she is of everyone else. She can't stop thinking about how her husband sees her and how everybody else sees her versus who other people think she is. Just that kind of spiraling energy reminded me so much of the yellow wallpaper. This book also has a lot of references to Rebecca and I think is largely based on or inspired by Rebecca. And it's going to be made into a movie starring Elizabeth Moss which will also be great.
