Saint Boniface of Maine is a patron of the show. He was born about 675 AD and went on to become one of the most famous monks in Europe. The Pope gave him his new name because it had been the feast of a martyr by that name. In 1719, he returned to freesland after being unsuccessful at evangelization there.
