The Problem With Gresham's Law in Science
In many cases, the scientists have been replaced by people who are nimble in the art of writing applications for government grants. So that's one with all the caveats that I'd be a little bit nervous about. And there's obviously a version of this question in entrepreneurship as well where are there people maybe just very good at pitching their companies and getting funding for their companies but whose companies don't actually make sense. Are the great companies often started by people who maybe are somehow worse at explaining them or something like that?
