Is the Coverage of January 6th a Good Thing?
There's a late over saturation of coverage of it. You can fire up your twitter feet and see people posting plevargans every single day. The reaction to the coverage, i think, confirms my suspicions that people don't have a good appreciation of what happens regularly in criminal cases. They're shocked that people are being allowed to plead guilty to misdemeanors when their conduct seems to have risen to the level of a faloy ikyou. So this is a good segua to the january sixth context,. which, as you say, is sort of the opposite of this fight.
