Hopefully they'd also say something like, whatever you're worried about isn't that bad, and just try and enjoy it a bit more. The next 10 years will be fine and enjoy it. Because I think we all spend quite a lot of time with emphasizing our concerns. And often you look back and they were nothing to worry about at all.
Speaker 1
So I think that's true. And I think also what you learn is listen to what people tell you. Listen, be humble. Don't have all the answers. What are they telling you? What I found is that coming and what are they telling you? Yeah. Of course, you cannot sit here and be smart about the whole thing, right? I mean, you have to be receptive.
Speaker 3
Absolutely. It's one of the funny things about this podcast. There's a lot of podcasts become successful because the hosts become like the celebrity of the podcast. But we're generally a podcast where the guest speaks for 85, 90% of the show. And that's because Hector and I are doing this also for personal reasons, which is we want to speak to amazing people and we want to listen to them and hear their stories.
Speaker 1
But I think it's brilliant. We're very curious.
Speaker 3
Yeah. It's driven from our curiosity.
Speaker 1
Yeah. It's curious. It's very, very needed now industry. So Jimmy, we

have to draw to a close. We could have gone on for hours and I would have loved to. But we only have our allotted time sadly. So we've really enjoyed hearing from you a couple of very unique insights in particular and lots of insight around VC as an industry and your journey and how you've built up a billion, you know, billion AUM fund or more than that. And so yeah, it's going to be a super valuable listen to all of the founders and all of the VCs and operators who listened to our show. So thank you so much for coming on.
Speaker 1
Absolutely. It was a pleasure James and Hector. Have a good one.
