bobbing's got this sense that scripture doesn't give us a whole lot of rope to work with and so he doesn't want to run past what's revealed. He was one of the first English translations in the mid 90s out of the dogmatics i suspect sort of sociology of knowledge suggests that that extrapolation of his eschatology which isn't his best on this point has had wider impact more recently than say wonderful works of god um my question would be why does he say less about beatific vision in dogmatics four?
