The Fed's Thinking on the Day of the Stock Market Crash

The crash of 87 was the worst stock market, single day in the stock market since 1929. People thought we were about to experience the second coming of the Great Depression. It's interesting to note too, that we don't really know exactly what the Fed was thinking during the crash because they apparently don't want us to know.
