You can kind of use that for sounds that cut through the mix, like you said, with gows. This happens with lopi too, where people like put tape sounds, like tape noise, on top of that kind of crackly tape noise. And it's really cool how you can just layer that stuff and add so many different things to it. Like one of the things i've been doing in a lot of my music lately is i've just been putting like a sign wave pluck on top of my snares. It just gives us this really cool, like, harsh, a tack sound.
