Aristotle's Plato, ancient Chinese civilization. It's everywhere. This stuff lasts because it works and it means something. But again, so this concept of freedom, I think, one of the examples I like to give is, if I started banging my head on the edge of a table and blood spurted out, no one would see, wow, Michael is really free. No, you would think I was crazy, right? Because I think as Ratzinger says in one of his essays, an irrational will is not a free will.
