Why Pastors Should Teach Their Church About the Church

Pastors are good at teaching what marriage is, but for some reason we leave this one out. We probably just assume it's simple and obvious. And our whole job here at Nine Marks is to prove it's not so simple and obvious as you may have thought. I gave three reasons in my talk on why pastors should teach their church about the church. One because it's what they are. A Christian is a church member. Right. They're called into that. We're baptized into that. It helps members realize what their job is with regard to one another. So you, you've got to talk about these things.
