How to Deal With the Stigma of Day Trading

I'm always trying to learn new strategies no matter if I'm like doing good because right now I am working on short selling in the mornings. How do you deal with just let's say those who kind of have a stigma about trading? How have you sounds like you had a really welcoming family to go down this path?
