The Importance of Hand Holding in the Liturgical Action

The default posture for the our father is to have your hands down at your side. People who respond against hand holding feel like a stranger, I don't know this person and it's not part of the liturgy itself. On the other hand you could say well if we really want to be in the mystical body we should get over our divisions and learn how to hold hands without feeling uncomfortable. But I don't think we're quite there yet. As time goes on we'll see if this becomes absorbed into the right through the normal channels which should be votes of the bishops in approval by Rome.
