The Problem With Expert Models of Assessment
The expert model is flawed in the sense that folks who have a range of experience and like different expertises are actually more competent in their fields. The longer someone kind of sticks within their lane, the worse they get at what they do. I think it's an interesting point when it comes to sort of the intergenerational transmission of assessment knowledge as well.
