What Are Your Thoughts on Philosophical Pessimism?

I'm passionate about the romantic poets, am shakespeare and reading all of austin. Dickens was endlessly influential when it came to stephen king. I think what you're talking about is more like pulp, like frivolous stuff. Am i the only person that reads frederic niter in a positive vein? Don't know, probably not. My thoughts are that those philosophers that are designated as pessimists, i don't think all of them are. But i like positive psychology, pessimism. And i do think there's a higher power.
