The rape scene is horrible and reading through it knowing the power that Piersa,Knowing the power that Metzger had in those moments really makes the whole thing nauseating for me. It's still really beautifully written in many places and there are plenty of points at which I laugh but it's probably my least favorite of the book just because it's so disgusting. So I do want to invite listeners to write in with their interpretation not only of that part in particular but of everything that we've talked about.
