Garry lagman has been writing since he was eight years old. He says his first literary effort was a thanksgiving day play in the third grade. His teachers inspired him to become a poet, but they also helped him with math and algebra. Garry's latest work is called "Nowsis," about an African-American woman who loses her husband at sea.
