The Technical Debt Metaphor
Like all metaphors, it can be stretched too far. Once it becomes cliche, people stop thinking about it as a metaphor and just think of it as a term of art. And i would rather talk about having to re do someone's plumbing because we rushed it. Ah, that to me seems like a much better metaphor fort kind of tec tet that i've seen.
