The Pain of a Bad Photo Shoot

I don't think I've ever talked to someone before who can resonate so much with the fact that an image can be used to define you. And it's this loss of control that is debilitating because at least you feel like in your normal life, you can control the way you look and the way you act. But once a photo is taken, people will just project whatever they want onto it and you have no control and it's terrifying. What did you think that those photos said about you that was just like so painful?
