When You're Weak, It's Not Our Fault
When we're weak, i guess it's not our fault. We saw hints of that back in joshua last week as well. What kept israel from fully conquering anan was that they decided to hire canaanites to do some of their work for them. Oh, surely i were big enough. We can drive them out later if we need to. But in the meantime, they're paying our bills. And i think unfortunately, too often we leave sins in our lives because we think they're doing something for us.
