The Benefits of Using Wasm
Wasm lets you use anything that compiles to Wasm to write the extension. It's a prototype, so we haven't added the product right now. We decided to focus on languages that like are pretty popular, and that we use ourselves,. Like Rust, and we use tax code for our website. Other things that we're thinking of doing is also for certain things: running those plugins on a separate thread; potentially out of process.
