The Difference Between the Middle Ages and Today
I think one key difference has to do with how prominent the reality of death is in people's minds and how close they perceive it to be. In the Middle Ages death in general was a much closer reality for people. Whereas today we have the temptation to think that it's very far away and that there are so many safety nets available to us. So... Yes... That's an Ceelecto Boolean Yeah.. Kessler-Endy. getting symptoms under control or taking care of something that's a little bit more straightforward and can be easily addressed and doesn't seem to have as much risk associated with it.
