The Trend to Move Away From the Dollar

The US is still the most powerful nation in the world. Its influence may be decreasing, but its power has been decreased. There is a desire among nations to move away from the US dollar because if you trade only in dollars and you deal only in dollars, then the Americans can control everything. So India is now entering into agreement with a whole lot of nations for using the rupee as the currency of exchange for various transfers of value. We also have the Saudis agreeing to trade in the in the Yuan. We have the rupee, ruble agreement and so on.
