Is There a Single Frame of Reference?

The lack of a single place to go is at the heart of what makes ethics so difficult. Some people think there is a right answer, others find it in religion or universal human rights. So how do you handle that? How do you handle the fact that one's size does not fit all? I this one, as frankly, is above my pay grade. i can't see how it can all be relative.
