How Does Exercise Help With Insulin Resistance?

Exercise is not the solution, it's more diet. By mass, muscle is the main consumer of glucose by a wide margin. Muscle can basically tell insulin, hey, my metabolic demand is so high that I don't need you to tell me what to do. So there is an insulin independent activation of pulling in the glucose. And thus, glucose levels can get corrected very quickly after exercise, not during usually. In fact, it's not uncommon to see glucose levels go up during exercise, but after, give it a few hours later and it will start to settle down.
