Russia said on Thursday that Belarus' refusal to host a military airbase back by President Vladimir Putin had been, quote, an unpleasant episode. Lukashenko is Putin's bitch for the first time in his 25 years. He has to do what Putin says or he's done. In Putin's mind, so securing, completely securing Lukashenko personally as a vassal isn't going to last forever.
