Is Demand Scaling Faster Than Director Capture?

Land use is actually a pro of director capture as a method to take CO two out of the atmosphere because it requires so much less land. In North America alone, we have the capacity to store hundreds of billions of tons of co two. There's sedimentary basins that held oil and gas for tens of millions of years where we can put the co two back underground. We'll need additional incentives aside from voluntary market in order to reach the billion ton scale removal.
