The Dilemma of the Communist Movement From Marxism

The fight for gay rights in the United States was structurally divorced from Marxism. The struggle against AIDS did not go that route. As it happened, ACT UP and the struggle of PWAs did not have a true ally in the organized left. It would be a mistake to claim that only Stalinist or Marxist-Leninist depending on the terminology used were responsible.
