The Importance of Reading Literature Historicalally
I've been reading and following a guy named Angus Fletcher, who's an avow Darwinian. He argues that approaching literature historically in the sense of reading the things as they came out through history, you're mimicking the way that Western civilization happened. So like you yourself are a microcosm of all of Western Civ. And if you do it that way, he argues that there's something about the way that the brain is wired that actually helps you assimilate information better. Now I got a question from Kyle Whittington and I already know it's probably going to just be a joke. We're not going to address that publicly. But I will tell you the answer after.
