There are many dogs that knew the emperor Napoleon Bonaparte. Throughout history stories of dogs who have well gone to extraordinary lengths to help their human friends if you like. There was a woman named Dorothy Eustis and in in 1927 she published an article in The Seeing Eye about her need for a seeing eye dog.
