The Least Plausible CBO Forecast

A recent congressional budget office forecast predicted that by the fourth quarter of this year, year over year inflation will drop to four %. You said that was the least plausible c b o forecast that you could remember in forty years. Why do you think it was so wrong? We don't have any examples historically where inflation has come down very substantially without meaningful omic a slack,. And i'm not sure what the basis is for thinking that this will be a the first time.
