i was at duke when the breast cancer doctor left and went into a private practice in florida. I stayed there for eight years on the faculty, spending most of my time taking care of women and occasionally men with breast cancer. i learned more than anything else about how to take care of women with brest cancer. And it was after eight years at duke that i was asked to run the bress cancer program at dani farbor. In truth, it was an offer i couldn't refuse.
