The Fall of Ibern-Kaldun in Andalusia

Ibern-Kaldun spent much of his life trying to help someone, anyone, claim unchallenged domination over the Makreb. At times he supported the Hafsids, who carried on the Al-Mohat ideology and controlled Ibern- Kaldun's home territory of Tunisia. But at one period he also threw in his lot with the Madanids, who held Morocco. Thanks to a series of political intrigues and embassies, he traveled also to Granada in Andalusia, still under Islamic control.
