Why Do You Play Shooter Games?
Games have different audiences that have different reasons for why they play games and there's this weird what I would say conflict in the game design community where there are incentives to pull different directions. So a shooter game right is in theory about being better or worse at being able to do the shooty stuff right and to like win it's a competitive kind of thing so you'll make different design decisions depending on which game you think you're making right. You can put physical constraints about how close that person is going to be to you, but your brain will correct for time that it didn't perceive.
