The Impact of Social Capital on Mobility
The data set consisted of more than 70 million people and more than 20 billion friendships. So we focus just on 25 to 44-year-olds, so that's a small slice of the population. We can go back and see who their high school friends were. The nice thing about the data is from the census data, we have information about incomes down to a block level.
