The Importance of Retribution in Atonement

I don't want to have an entire atonement conversation and not mention the fall once because it is such an important part of many of these theories of atonement. I felt like I definitely heard penal substitution at conference, but more of a sort of that theology of atonement as, as healing. And one can detect some dissonance there. It seems to me in the last 10 years that we need to shift and talk more about healing and less about retribution. But until Augustin, there's no sense of a shared guilt for what Adam and he did.
