Our libidinal economy is our desires shaped by society. This feeds our values and excesses right back into the system. We cannot separate ourselves from the influences as we have somehow become an appendage to the machine, somewhat controlled by the machine. You're actually merely a replaceable limb for the sort of bazillipede known as the global technological apparatus. Given the positions that we're in, no one can really see a way back, right backwards isn't an option.
