Netanyahu's New Government Will Promote and Develop Settlements in All Areas of the Land of Israel

The new government has promised to advance and develop settlements in all parts of Israel, including Judea and Samaria. Bezelel Smotrich, who leads the religious Zionism party, is expected to be given vast powers over the West Bank. Netanyahu claimed in a recent interview that major decisions when it comes to the West Bank will be up to him. But even if the decisions are up to him, settlements are likely to expand rapidly as his previous government advanced plans for a record number of settlements in 2020.
