Managerialism
Managership is a hot topic, and not everybody defines it or has the same definition. A lot of people will raise this point that managerialism is the socio economic substructure of society. It's prevalent among people with a very technical education who have very little background in history or the humanities or sociology. They elevate the material causes as the only causes that matter. But for most people, i think the vast majority of us, we have to explain to ourselves why we do what we do in terms of our ethics, our principles, our faith, our values. For us, the superstructure is real.
